Before she goes into labour, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son. Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a nation be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children. (Isaiah 66:7-8)
The theme of this book entitled "Can a Nation be born in a Day?" is about how God restored the nation of Israel in the last days and the roles that Israel will play in God's plan for the end times. This book was written originally in Chinese, with the title: "The Iron Tree Has Bloomed". "The iron tree blooms" is a Chinese idiom used to describe a highly improbable occurrence. Indeed, a careful study of the history of the restoration of the nation of Israel, which is the main subject of this book, shows that the establishment of the modern state of Israel is essentially impossible without the interventions of the Living God. And this book challenges you to think, how are you going to respond to the fulfilment of God's prophecies in our generation, in this last day?
