The research method of this thesis is novel. The rare language combination has uncovered new research directions in both translation studies and contrastive linguistics. The present study also has significant theoretical implications for biblical studies and BH pedagogy.
Twelve years ago I was the key person initiating changes in the roles of women in worship in a Chinese congregation with missionary influence. In this thesis I explore the process of women’s empowerment in this church.

This research explores the challenges Chinese urban house church leaders face and provides an overview of the leadership models of house churches during the apostolic era.
